I found both the Drift and Gymkhana modes to be a lot of fun, and a good break from the racing modes. I found 85-90% was good for the Race and Drift modes, and I could go up to 100% for Gymkhana. I preferred to set the difficulty myself to give me a consistent challenge. Rather than the usual in-race “rubber-band” difficulty of a lot of racing games, here the difficulty is fixed for a race but is then adjusted for the next race depending how you performed. It turns out the default difficulty is set to “dynamic”. I would win a race easily, and then my next race I would get thrashed. I imagine the game would be a lot tougher with touch controls.Īt first I was a bit nonplussed by the varying difficulty. It’s also compatible with game controllers and I’ve been using the PS4 Dual Shock, which works great. ![]() Graphics are great and the game runs very smoothly on my 2018 Mobile Pro. I remember with fondness playing the original Reckless Racing many years ago, and this has the same highly addictive qualities, with new Drift and Gymkhana modes added. ![]()
